Her professional experience include business management, grant writing, early childhood education, and administrative services.

Nakida's career in education spans over the past 14 years as a NYC Department of Education employee. In her current position, she serves as an education advocate for families and community members. She is committed to increasing the awareness of educational policies and procedures that directly affect students in Southeast Queens.
